Adam Wilkerson - Low Brass Musician

Adam Wilkerson maintains a prominent presence in the music scene in Nashville, TN as a performer and educator. He received a Bachelor of Music degree in music education from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, OK, and a Master of Music degree in Euphonium Performance from the University of North Texas where he studied with David Childs and Jeff Baker. He served in the US Army band program as a low brass musician for 8 years and since has successfully maintained a large, competitive private studio. His students have garnered much success in their endeavors; having successful auditions in their local schools (getting into their top bands), All-State auditions, solo and ensemble auditions, college auditions and military auditions. As an in-demand clinician and educator, he has strived to perfect the art of effective and efficient low brass pedagogy; so much so, that he authored a three-part series of books for tuba, trombone, and euphonium and is working on a second series—18 books in total! Adam spends his free time diving into the depths of music technology, performing in local ensembles, and hanging out with his lovely wife, Ari Wilkerson, and his ornery son, Asher Wilkerson.
